We are the only licensed, non-profit childcare center on the east end providing affordable, high-quality childcare, and early education programs. We are a member of NAEYC*, and licensed by OCFS**.

Whitmore Kids are the future of our community. We think about that every day as we welcome more than 100 children under the age of five, of year-round working families, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

A thriving community needs an available workforce which relies on quality, affordable, all-day care for our children. What we do is not possible without the financial support of private individuals.

The Board of Directors and Staff of the Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Center mourn the passing of our founder, lifelong friend and benefactor, Eleanor Whitmore. Eleanor was a fierce advocate for working families and a true force in establishing high-quality early learning and childcare for our east end community.
